The opportunity to receive funding from the joint project ‘Installation of Private Electric Vehicle Charging Points’ by submitting an application to the Lithuanian Energy Agency under the call ‘Installation of Private Electric Vehicle Charging Points for Legal Entities at Workplaces’ encouraged AB ‘Jonavos Grūdai’ to plan the installation of electric vehicle charging point.
The project is implemented under the economic recovery and resilience plan ‘New Generation Lithuania’, financed by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility ‘NextGenerationEU’.
“AB ‘Jonavos Grūdai’ is implementing the project ‘Investments of AB ‘Jonavos Grūdai’ in Air Filtration Equipment to Reduce Environmental Pollution by Particulate Matter’ No. LAAIF-AM-TECH01-0005.
It is planned to replace part of the worn-out and inefficient air treatment equipment used in aspiration systems within grain transportation and processing-cleaning technological processes. Most of this equipment was installed during the construction of the plant (1974). During the implementation of the project, it is planned to purchase and install three air filters. The installation of automated air filters, whose cleaning by compressed air will be controlled by controllers, will significantly reduce particulate matter emissions into the environment.
The project is implemented in accordance with the description of the project financing conditions under Measure No. 02-001-06-11-01 ‘Strengthening the Prevention and Management of Negative Environmental Impact’ of the Environmental Protection and Climate Change Management Development Programme managed by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania, within the framework of the 2022–2030 Development Programme.
Project duration: 6 February 2025 – 5 March 2027.
Total project value: EUR 317,000.00, including EUR 221,900.00 financed from the state budget. The project is co-financed by the Republic of Lithuania.
